CD Printing & DVD Printing

CD printing is available in various forms depending on the quantity of CDs to be printed or the result required.

CD Printing in volume:

CMYK ColoursAmstore offers as standard CDs or CDRs printed using screen printing. Screen printed Cds/ Cdrs is an on-body technique. The process involves a series of screens exposed to the image. Each screen represents a colour. Where CD printing requires a full colour image, a CMYK mix is used. Essentially C=Cyan, M=Magenta, Y=Yellow, K=Black. The changing percentages of the mix delivers the effect of full colour. Although CMYK print is not a precise CD printing technique it delivers a cost effective solution. Where clients have corporate colours its better use Pantone colours.

In addition to screen printing Amstore also offers CD printing using a litho process. The litho CD or DVD printing technique employs a process similar to brochures or leaflets in that plates are used. For full colour photographic images litho printing offers an excellent result.
