Vinyl Pressing Lead Times
Vinyl manufacturing lead times will vary depending on the quantity, the type of packaging you need, whether we are cutting the lacquer for you and also the time of year.
There are busy seasons and quiet seasons throughout the year and during the busy seasons, lead times may be extended by a few days.
- Cutting lacquer = approx 2 to 3 days
- Creation of Test Press's = approx 2 to 3 days
- Pressing of Vinyl = approx 6-9 days(depending on capacity in the factory)
- Hand packing to finished product = approx 1 to 2 days
- Delivery - overnight or same day at an extra delivery cost
- If you require picture discs, coloured vinyl, gatefold sleeves or other creative packaging, lead times may be extended.
Production of the main run will not begin until you have approved (in writing) your Test Pressings. If you take several days to approve your test press’s then your main production run will be delayed by several days.
