A DVD duplication company has revealed its latest efforts aimed at reducing its damaging impact on the environment.

Using recycled, post-consumer materials for its CD and DVD cases and related packaging, the Hellman Production company is hoping to establish a more environmentally-friendly approach to its business.

The firm carries out DVD duplication processes and distributes the resulting products to clients around the world and bosses at Hellman are convinced that eco issues will become increasingly important for the industry as a whole.

Swire Ho, sales and marketing director for the company, said: "We are continuing our efforts in coming up with affordable, green and unique CD/DVD packaging solutions for our eco-conscious customers."

He added that environmental concerns look set to drive innovation within the DVD duplication and distribution industries in years to come.

Meanwhile, a report from the Minneapolis Star Tribune recently highlighted the recent commercial success of CopycatMedia, a US-based DVD duplication service company.
