Tasty new USB flash drives set for launch

A new range of USB flash drives that are made to look like cakes are set to be launched, it has emerged.

Promotional USB flash drives are growing in popularity in markets around the world and the Vavolo company is aiming to grab some attention with its devices that appear to be fresh from the oven.

The Gadget Spy website reports that the range, which will be served up in Black Forest, French Mille-Feuille, Fruit Plate Cake and Strawberry Torte varieties, are to be made available from later this month.

It is not clear how much the flash drives will cost to buy but each is expected to offer four gigabytes of storage capacity.

Vivolo's range of eye-catching USB flash drives extends well beyond cakes, with a series of fortune cookie-style devices already on sale and a number of other food-themed varieties in the pipeline.
