Light Bulb and Fruit flash drives unveiled

A technology website has revealed two new USB Flash Drives with alternative designs.

Gearlive.com reports that the Light Bulb USB flash drive and the Fruit flash drives are now available to customers worldwide.

The first drive looks like a mini light bulb and has 8GB of memory.

With dimensions of only 60 x 28 x 28 mm, the Light Bulb USB flash drive weighs only 25g and can be attached to a "key chain, briefcase or backpack" so owners can carry data no matter where they go, according to the website.

The Fruit Flash Drive has 4GB memory and comes in the shape of a strawberry or watermelon.

Both versions of the device support Windows 2000/XP/Vista or Mac operating systems.

US website Think Geek recently unveiled a 4GB USB flash drive which is concealed within the casing of a watch, pocket-lint.co.uk reported.
