Creative store sound card technology on USB drive

Creative has revealed a new sound card designed for gamers that is housed in a USB flash drive.

The Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Go! utilises X-Fi Xtreme Fidelity audio technology to allow gamers to experience an "ultra-realistic gaming experience" with surround sound headphones, according to the developers.

Creative claims that the 1GB built-in flash memory allows the software to be installed fast and easy on any PC.

The USB flash drive also features read/write protection to avoid accidental deleting of files, so gaming profiles and other files can be safely stored on the X-Fi Go!.

"The Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Go! delivers the ultimate gaming experience, providing users with a competition-grade X-Fi sound system for stunning audio quality with immersive and ultra-realistic sound during PC gaming," claims Creative.

The USB flash drive is officially approved by the World Gaming Series and legendary gamer Johnathan 'Fatal1ty' Wendel.

Flash experts Aderra recently teamed up with Canadian DJ Deadmau5 to offer fans unique USB flash drives of his sets, with the memory sticks modelled on his signature mouse head mask.
